Imagine Dragons have an incredibly rich discography that currently consists of six studio albums, four live albums, one compilation album, ten extended plays, twenty-seven singles, six promotional singles and twenty-three music videos. According to the RIAA, the band has sold 74.5 million digital singles and 12 million albums in the US. And worldwide records set the band as having sold 46 million albums and 55 million singles worldwide as well as 74 billion global streams.

This makes the band one of the best-selling rock bands in history. Billboard has even named them the 29th Greatest Adult Alternative artist of all time as well as the 13th Top Artist of 2010s in the US.

Studio Albums

It’s hard to talk about the incredible success of this band in a single page, so we’ll focus on the band’s first three studio albums.

Imagine Dragons’ first album, Night Visions, was released on September 4, 2012. And it has enjoyed 7 million Worldwide sales, with 2.4 million of those in the US alone. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200, #4 on the ARIA charts, #3 in Canada, and topped the US Rock Album charts, among other feats. The RIAA has also called it a platinum-certified album.

Smoke + Mirrors, their second album, was also critically successful. It was certified platinum by the RIAA and topped the charts in seveal countries including hte US. Their third album, Evolve, followed suit. It was released on June 23, 2017 and topped the US Rock albums chart as well as in Canada and Switzerland.
